The stereo system has an AUX function and I have an Ipod Touch and hate the radio receiver type integration. So I researched Ipod Interface components and found this one.Earlier I had purchased a different one from another company that confirmed compatibility with my vehicle, but when it arrived it was not. So I returned that one and found this one. Research carefully to avoid the wasted time :) It arrived before the promised arrival date and in perfect condition. I already knew how to get my factory stereo out, so when I installed this device I found the directions very simple to follow and I was done in about 10 minutes. Now I can plug in my Ipod Touch and control it via the car stereo buttons, and the sound is crystal clear! No more poor reception with those radio receiver types! And, it charges my Ipod too.
