great for power, not a noticeable economy boost, April 4, 2011 By  jake - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Hypertech 128322 ThermoMaster Power Chip (Misc.) This chip is an excellent boost in power, however it lacked a video for install, but it was not very difficult install. Fuel economy might have improved slightly, a tenth or two, when I drive like I did before but it is hard to drive like that with the new power, I now have to be careful of my speed it as I will go faster than I think or with slight throttle it goes much faster than it used to. I noticed a big difference in power, especially power in mid rev range with especially big roll on performance. I would not recommend if you are looking for fuel only, but I have found a renewed joy in my old truck.
